A distinctive hand-carved yak bone skull bead featuring an expressive Charnel Ground–style skull face with deeply carved eyes, teeth and darkened engraved details.

The skull motif is commonly associated with Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhist imagery, including the symbolism of the charnel ground, impermanence and transformation. The reverse features a bold carved zigzag design, giving the bead character from every angle.

The bead has a drilled hole through the top and can be incorporated into a mala, necklace, bracelet, amulet or other jewelry project.
