(Lacking Volume III Part I.)

Five volumes (of 6), bound in full leather. Measuring approx. 20.4cm x 13.2cm x 3-4cm. Lacking front board of volume III Part 2. One board is detached and the other are cracking or cracked to spine edges. The front board of Volume I Part I has been restuck (a little crudely) to inner edges. Spines are worn, creased and scuffed and the title labels are lacking. Chipped to top and bottom of spine and corners (with loss). Leather marked and rubbed. Extremities bumped. Internally lacking a couple of endpapers (couple of chips and tears to remaining endpapers). Armorial bookplates to inside front boards (Sir Wm. Augustus Cunynghame & James Garthshore). Cracking at endpapers. Some ink and pencil to front endpapers. The frontispiece to Volume II Part 2 has been restuck to inner edges of the detached front board. Couple of letters/numbers to title pages (offsetting to frontispieces). The half title, frontis and title have been a little crudely restuck to inner edges of front board (cracked to rear of title page). Two of the title pages are marked with some stains. Pale staining to frontis, title page and more so to rear quarter of Volume II Part 2. Thumbed, with some scattered pale grubbiness/dustiness and very occasional foxing and toning. A couple of leaves have pale damp spotting. Few scattered marks and creases and the occasional stain. Straining to front and rear few leaves, else overall the majority of contents remain in reasonably clean and firm condition for age.

  • We offer FREE UK domestic shipping, fully tracked and insured.
  • We use several services for overseas shipping, under 5kg usually shipped via Royal Mail Tracked. Heavier shipments or faster courier services are available, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred method.

Packaging
All our books will be carefully and securely packaged in custom made book boxes (The majority of which are produced Carbon Neutral). The Bubble packaging and boxes are all recyclable, and most tape used is environmentally friendly (we are constantly researching ways to reduce our environmental impact without compromising safe, secure and affordable shipping). We aim to send all items within 24-48 hours of payment.
