Many contain maps, plans and illustrations and would make an interesting collection for collectors of antique travel books, cartography, early tourism, social history and vintage guide books.

Condition varies considerably due to age and use. Covers and pages show general wear, marks, foxing, discolouration and age-related deterioration. Some bindings/pages are worn or damaged and there may be inscriptions, stamps or other signs of previous ownership and use.

Of particular interest, the 1932 North-Western France Blue Guide bears an Eastern Command Education Library / HM Forces “Not For Resale” stamp.
