Teddy Bear with Glass Eyes and Mohair Body, 56 cm, 1930s–1940s, Collectible, Vintage, Europe

Size: 56 cm; Head: 18 cm × 14 cm; Arms: 24 cm; Legs: 26 cm; Weight: 1.6 kg

Materials: Wool/Mohair body/Felt pads (hands and feet), glass eyes, wood shavings (finely shaved wood fibers)

This is a vintage European teddy bear made from wool (mohair-type) material.

It features glass eyes, and felt is used on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet.

Based on these characteristics, it is believed to have been made in Germany or the United Kingdom around the 1930s–1940s.

With a total length of approximately 56 cm (including ears), it has a commanding presence, and its simple, warm expression is particularly charming.

The felt on the hands and feet shows some wear, but you can see that wood shavings are stuffed inside.

While there are signs of wear and tear on the fur due to age, it is in vintage condition that retains its original character. It has been lightly brushed for maintenance.
