Brass Click Clack Waste Replacement Spring Bolt

A replacement spring-loaded click-clack mechanism designed for compatible push-button basin, sink and bath waste fittings.

This part is intended to replace a worn, sticking or faulty internal clicker mechanism without necessarily replacing the complete waste assembly.

How to Install

1. Remove the existing decorative plug/cap where applicable.

2. Unscrew the worn click-clack spring mechanism from the waste body.

3. Compare the old and new thread sizes and lengths.

4. Screw the replacement mechanism into the compatible waste body.

5. Refit the existing top plug/cap where applicable.

6. Press the mechanism several times to confirm smooth open/close operation

Safety & Maintenance Information

• Check compatibility before installation.

• Do not force an incorrect thread into the waste body.

• Cross-threading can damage both the replacement part and existing waste.

• Do not overtighten.

• Inspect seals and the surrounding waste assembly if leakage is present.

• This replacement mechanism alone may not fix leaks caused by damaged seals, washers or the waste body.

• Keep small parts away from young children.

• Stop using the mechanism if it becomes damaged, heavily corroded or jammed.
