The traditional Royal Doulton factory is one of the most important names in English ceramics and porcelain history.
In the first half of the 20th century In the 19th century, numerous decorative objects were created there that are characterized by fine modeling and romantic decor.
The popular “ribbon and bow” motif embodies the elegant taste of the interwar period - playful, but at the same time balanced and of high quality.
Such pieces were often chosen as gifts or to stylishly decorate bourgeois interiors and are now valued examples of classic British home decor.
