Vintage industrial wooden textile mill spool/bobbin from The Vectra Co. of Odenton, Maryland, a manufacturer associated with Vectra synthetic fiber production.

The wooden flange is stamped “THE VECTRA CO. / ODENTON MD” along with the number 64. Approximately 7-1/4” tall with roughly 4-1/2” diameter ends.

Shows authentic industrial use and age with numerous scratches, scuffs, stains, finish wear and surface marks throughout. Wood also shows age-related checking/splitting as pictured. The wear gives this piece excellent primitive industrial character.

A great collectible connected to Maryland textile and synthetic-fiber manufacturing history, or an attractive piece for industrial, primitive, farmhouse or sewing-room décor.
