Here's a handy little tool for light-duty pruning or flower-picking.
This appears in Schollhorn's 1929 catalog, costing $12.00....per dozen!
It's in good working condition - the pivot is very solid, the spring action is still strong, and the blade is sharp.
It also has a locking lever that keeps the cutter in a closed position, so you can carry it in your pocket.
There's a great patina of age and use as well. See pics.
None of your gardening pals have one this cool.
(Update: I just tried it out on some unsuspecting plants in my backyard - cuts like a champ!)
