Over the coming months, I'll be having a huge clear out of items gathered over many years. Selected items from my home, together with the contents of my shed, attic and storage spaces, all have to go. Once they are gone, they are gone.
Offered here is one original vintage 1980s card shelf talker, officially issued by Alma for use in British sweet shops.
These colourful cards would have been displayed on sweet-shop shelves to advertise the different varieties of sweets available and to show their selling price. They feature the product name, original period artwork and price, giving a fascinating glimpse of the sweets and shop displays of the 1980s.
This is original unused old stock, which I collected many years ago and have kept stored away ever since. It has never been used as a shop display.
Each card measures approximately 132mm x 90mm.
These are a great piece of 1980s British sweet-shop nostalgia and would make an unusual addition to a collection of vintage confectionery advertising, shop memorabilia or 1980s ephemera. They could also be individually framed or mounted and displayed as a quirky piece of nostalgic wall art.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for ONE shelf talker card only. The particular variety being offered is the one shown in the listing title and photographs. No sweets are included.
I have a number of different Alma shelf talkers from this period, featuring different varieties of sweets. Please take a look at my other listings to see the different cards available.
Condition: Very good unused vintage condition, as pictured. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
