This is a nice Antique Indian Cup, probably designed for a Christening.

The cup is repousseed all around with scenes of Indian Village Life around a vacant shield shaped cartouche. The design is typical of silver from the Lucknow region of India during the colonial era.

 I have had it tested in the Birmingham jewellery Quarter and it tests as low grade, 50% silver, which is not untypical of this type of piece.

Good antique condition with just light scratches and light tarnish.

The cup is 6.3 cm tall to the tip of the handle and weighs 69 g.
