Vintage 1989 Chix Batman Candy Sticks Collector Pack featuring the Joker from Tim Burton's Batman movie, produced in England by Squirrel Chix and officially licensed by DC Comics during the original 1989 Batmania merchandise era.
This original 1989 Batman movie collectible was issued by Chix / Squirrel Chix as part of its unusual Candy Sticks Collector Pack series released alongside Tim Burton's blockbuster Batman.
The front features the unmistakable 1989 Batman movie logo and yellow Bat emblem, together with the Chix logo, “Collector Pack” corner graphic and bold Candy Sticks lettering.
The reverse makes this particular variation especially recognizable: it features the Joker in a playing-card-style design, surrounded by repeating “JOKER” lettering. The artwork evokes Jack Nicholson's iconic Joker from the 1989 film and makes this one of the more visually distinctive packets in the series.
These Chix Batman packets were produced as a 12-design collectible set featuring Batman and Joker images in a playing-card format. Unlike ordinary disposable candy packaging, collectors were encouraged to retain the illustrated packets as part of the set.

Condition
This is an original vintage 1989 outer collector packet.
The black background remains attractive with strong Batman graphics and bright yellow, red and white printing. The Joker playing-card image on the reverse displays particularly well.
There is normal age and handling wear, including light surface rubbing, small edge and corner wear, minor fold/crease wear and scattered marks consistent with a paperboard candy package more than 35 years old.
No candy is included. No inner candy-stick slide/tray is shown or included.
