This little piggy bank is from TIFFANY & CO. circa 2003, made of Sterling Silver with 925 ITALY stamped on the bottom of one of its hooves. The bank is 8" long, 5" high and about 3 1/2" wide across the belly - weighs 13.8 ounces / 391.2 grams. Comes with a TIFFANY & CO. blue felt drawstring bag.

As you can see in the photos, the bank has a tarnished patina, which is usual for sterling silver that has not been polished (there are some reflections off the silver in the photos) - the surface of the bank is smooth with no notable marks that I can see - silver screw-in plug at the bottom opens quickly and smoothly. 

I don't think this was ever used as a bank but I'm not the original owner and can't say that for sure. Please look at all the photos and bear in mind that this is a pre-owned item that is 20+ years old. (I've included an image of a newspaper ad for the bank that shows more clearly what it looks like when polished.)
