The 4.03-carat center is GIA-certified, a true, 150 year old mine cut with a high crown, broad open facets, and a warm, honeyed body color. In 18-karat yellow gold, this diamond glows with a soft, candlelit flicker. VS2 clarity means the diamond is crystal clear, with all the character and none of the compromise. Four old European cut diamonds step down each shoulder, and the hand-engraved wheat-sheaf and foliate motifs running the length of the band are the kind of detail that rewards a second, third, and fourth look.
