It retains a very attractive appearance with lovely original brass patina.

Condition
Overall in good antique condition with age-related wear, marks and tarnishing consistent with age and use. The enamel is generally well preserved and the brass has developed an attractive patina.
The mechanical stage, focus controls and rotating nosepiece all appear to move freely, although I have not tested the microscope optically or checked the calibration. It is therefore being sold as an untested antique scientific instrument and may require cleaning, adjustment or servicing before use.
Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
