War Admiral
by Heather Rohde

Framed Reproduction of Original Art
Signed/Numbered Limited Edition
12" x 15" (total size)

Small in stature but big in heart, War Admiral became a Triple Crown champion in 1937. The most outstanding son of the great Man o' War, War Admiral won an impressive 21 of his 26 starts. War Admiral is perhaps most widely remembered today as Seabiscuit's rival in the great match race. War Admiral was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1958 and ranked among the top 20 U.S. thoroughbred champions of the 20th century by Blood-Horse magazine.

This quality framed limited edition art print featuring two views of War Admiral is the perfect way to remember him. The bottom of the piece features a quote which reads: "A champion Thoroughbred, son of a Titan... A display of class, stamina, and pure courage." If you like how the art looks here, you will love how it looks in person! It is matted in antique white and framed in an elegant two-tone brown wood designer frame. I will hand sign and number this piece on the front and will provide you with a Certificate of Authenticity. Measurements indicate outside dimensions of frame. The copyright watermark that you see in my photo does not appear on the actual art. ("War Admiral" is also available in larger sizes as well as unframed.
