How we grade

The grade for this item is listed under Item Specifics. This is what each grade means to us.

Sealed

Never opened. Factory shrink noted in the title if present.

NM — Near Mint

Pack fresh or close to it. Sleeved since we received it.

LP — Lightly Played

Slight edge or corner wear, visible only on close inspection.

MP — Moderately Played

Wear you can see at a glance. Priced for it.

HP — Heavily Played

Heavy wear, creasing or whitening. Sold as a play or filler copy.

Vintage cards are graded against what is normal for their age, not against a modern print. The photographs are the final word — they show the exact card you will receive. Want a closer look at a corner or the surface under light? Ask us and we will take it.

Getting it to you

Leaves Japan within 3 to 10 business days of your payment clearing. Japanese public holidays are not business days.
Tracked end to end, every order, no exceptions.
Every single card goes into a soft sleeve, then a rigid top loader, then between stiff card stock, and finally into a clear OPP bag that keeps moisture out on the way over. Sealed boxes are cushioned and shipped inside an outer carton so the corners survive the trip.
We can only ship to the address held on your eBay account, and we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. If yours has changed, please update it before ordering.
Should a parcel come back to us as undeliverable or unclaimed, we will contact you, but we cannot absorb the cost of a second shipment.

Shipping to the United States — duties are on us

What you pay at checkout is what you pay. Import duty is prepaid by us (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid), so nothing further will be collected when the parcel reaches you.

Two exceptions: orders above USD 2,500 including shipping, and items routed through eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee, sit outside this arrangement.

Shipping outside the United States

Duty and import tax are not included and are not something we can pay on your behalf. Your own customs authority sets them, the amount differs by country, and your carrier may ask you to settle them before it hands the parcel over. Please factor this in before you bid or buy.

If you are buying from the EU

You have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. Open Purchase History or Order Details, choose “Return item,” then “Withdrawal from Contract.” Return postage is on us and you are refunded in full.

If something is not right

60 days from delivery to return anything that does not match how we described it. Message us first — most things are quicker to fix than to return. Where the mistake is ours, the return postage is ours too.
Filming yourself opening the parcel is the single most useful thing you can do if a claim ever comes up. It takes ten seconds and it settles questions instantly. We would rather never need it.
We work within eBay’s policies and we would rather sort a problem out than argue about one.
