A fantastic vintage genuine Zippo lighter featuring an engraved Winchester design, presented on an attractive brass-finish case and supplied with its box.

This is a particularly appealing piece for Zippo, Winchester and shooting memorabilia collectors, with an attractive aged brass appearance that gives the lighter plenty of character.

Condition

The outer brass Zippo case has previously been used and consequently shows age/use-related marks, surface wear and patina. Please study the photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition.

Interestingly, the Zippo insert appears to be unstruck/unused and carries the matching period “E XI” date code. Because the case itself shows evidence of use while the insert appears unused, I believe the original insert may have been replaced at some point with another period-correct example.

I cannot confirm this with certainty, so it is being described transparently rather than claiming the insert is definitely original to the case.
