Vintage 1950s Dyed Mouton Lamb Fur Jacket – Lovemans Chattanooga "The Crystal Room"

Up for sale is an authentic, handmade mid-century cropped burgundy/brown dyed mouton lamb fur jacket. This piece features a striking vintage wide shawl collar, structured shoulder tailoring, front slash pockets, and its original patterned satin lining featuring a vintage "Thor-O-Protected" glaze stamp.

Provenance:

This piece is being sold directly from the wardrobe archives of the Georgia Ensemble Theatre.

Important Condition Note (SOLD AS-IS):

Please review all photos closely before purchasing. While the front of the jacket displays remarkably well, the underlying vintage leather backing has dry rot. There is a visible linear split tearing open at the collar seam and widespread balding/thinning across the upper back shoulders where the fur is shedding from the brittle skin. This item is not recommended for standard wear in its current state but is absolutely perfect as a theatrical costume piece, historic store display, or as "cutter fur" to safely repurpose into accessories like muffs, pillows, trims, or plush crafts.
