This is a magnificent work of Mexican fine folk art imported from the Huichol tribe of Nayarit, Mexico. It is a magical “painting” featuring a skull, peyote, deer and other patterns sacred to Huichol cosmology. It has been made with wood covered in bees wax and intricately set with beads.
