This is a Japanese woodblock print of “Snow at Zojoji Temple” by Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870–1949), a Japanese artist associated with the Shin Hanga movement.
The original design was created in 1933 (Showa 8) and published by Doi Hanga.
The composition depicts Zojoji Temple in Tokyo during snowfall. The red temple building stands out strongly against the cool gray-blue winter atmosphere, while snow-covered trees frame the scene. Several figures carrying umbrellas appear in the temple grounds, adding a quiet sense of everyday life to the winter landscape.
