• The Voigtländer Bessa 66 is a classic German-made medium-format folding film camera, designed for 6×6 photography on 120 roll film. This example is the desirable De Luxe Heliar model, featuring the Voigtländer Heliar lens, a built-in body-mounted viewfinder and the faster Compur-Rapid shutter. The folding design allows the lens and bellows to retract neatly into the camera body, making it compact and highly portable for a 6×6 (120mm) medium-format camera. It also features a body-mounted shutter release, film advance mechanism, depth-of-field calculator and tripod socket. A fine example of pre-war Voigtländer engineering, combining a high-quality Heliar lens with the sophisticated Compur-Rapid shutter. An excellent camera for collectors of Voigtländer, Heliar, Bessa, German cameras, folding cameras, vintage film and medium-format photography.

Condition - Pre-Owned:

• Cosmetic: Working. The shutter and camera mechanisms are functioning correctly, and the bellows are in good condition with no obvious damage. The lens is generally clear, with only minor dust specks consistent with age and use.  There is some cosmetic wear consistent with the camera’s age and previous use. The circular front trim/logo piece is missing. The material/trim on the back cover is also starting to peel slightly.
• Optical: Some small dust specs in lens consistent with age.
• Tested: Working - Shutter operates, film rewind, back closure, bellows folding etc. No film included or tested/processed with film.
