A pair of circa 1920s Marion Bronze bookends depicting seated friars reading, each marked with the conjoined MB maker's mark. The bronze-clad figures have a polychrome finish with deep red robes, warm bronze-gold details, and finely modeled books, faces, and drapery.

Very good vintage condition with remarkably well-preserved original polychrome finish. The red robes remain rich and vibrant, with only minor surface wear and rubbing consistent with age. The bronze/gold-toned areas show light patina, surface marks, and natural variation from age. No chips, cracks, repairs, or significant finish loss observed. Please review photographs for full condition.
