Switch Chassis Compatibility: This module is designed specifically for modular HP ProCurve / Aruba 5400 zl, 8200 zl, and 5400R zl2 series chassis switches. It is NOT a standalone switch, and it will NOT fit in standard PCIe expansion slots, servers, or other switch families (like 3800, 2920, etc.). Please verify your switch chassis model prior to purchasing.
SFP+ Transceivers NOT Included: The 8x SFP+ cages are bare. Optical transceivers (optics) and fiber patch / Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables are **NOT** included and must be sourced separately.
v2 Module Configuration: This is a **v2 zl module**. To run at full v2 speed profiles, ensure your chassis supervisor module and other chassis components are configured for v2 mode.
We guarantee the expansion module initializes in the chassis, registers port links, and routes traffic under load for 30 days from the delivery date.
The expansion module is packaged inside a static-safe ESD protection bag, secured in thick bubble wrapping, and shipped inside a rigid box to prevent shipping impacts or connector pin damage.
