This small stoneware jug features a soft matte celadon‑green glaze with subtle speckling and a neatly pulled handle. The underside carries the impressed “Anton Lang” signature with his characteristic underline motif.
Anton Lang (1875–1938) was both a master potter and a celebrated actor in the Oberammergau Passion Play. His ceramics reflect the region’s devotion to artistry and craftsmanship, combining functional simplicity with timeless Alpine character.
