Vintage 80s GJ Design Australia Mr Men Smock Dress Sz 6 Kidcore Maximalist Retro

This authentic vintage smock dress by GJ Design — made in Australia in the late 1980s or early 1990s — is the kind of find that makes a parent stop scrolling. The cherry-red bodice anchors a brilliant all-over print skirt featuring classic Roger Hargreaves Mr. Men characters — Mr. Happy, Mr. Strong, Mr. Rush and friends — in the sort of saturated, joyful colour that only vintage poly-cotton holds this well. Practical too: a partial front button placket makes dressing easy, two gathered patch pockets are perfect for little treasures, and the sleeveless cut layers beautifully over a long-sleeve tee for cooler days. Whether you grew up with Mr. Men or you’re introducing them to a new generation, this one is genuinely special.
