The E45C 12+8 Pin SGW Bypass Adapter enables the direct connection of a suitable diagnostic interface to the CAN lines behind the Security Gateway Module (SGW/SGM) for compatible vehicles from the FCA group. For vehicles with SGW, certain diagnostic and service functions may be restricted via the normal OBD2 connection. By properly connecting the bypass adapter, compatible diagnostic devices or Interfaces can be used for supported diagnostic functions. The adapter is exclusively a passive connection cable and does not contain its own diagnostic electronics.Product features:
