• How to Install Car Driveshaft
  •  
  • 1. Properly support the driveshaft assembly to avoid bending slip yoke, flange yoke and other components.
  • 2. For two-section driveshaft: temporarily mount the middle support bracket without fully tightening bolts, keep slight clearance reserved.
  • 3. For single-section driveshaft: skip the above step. Fit driveshaft slip yoke onto the transmission end, reposition and reinstall if misaligned, then fasten bolts securely.
  • 4. Secure driveshaft flange yoke to rear axle, tighten all 4 mounting bolts with dedicated fasteners.
  • 5. Adjust the hanger bracket position and lock it tightly with bolts to finish installation.
