The No. 511 combines a broad reference base with an adjustable steel rule for measuring depths and checking layout or work against the marked 30°, 45°, and 60° angle references.

The No. 2310 rule includes the original hook end and is marked "The Lufkin Rule Co.," "Saginaw, Mich.," "Made in U.S.A.," and "Tempered."

Used vintage machinist tool showing normal age and shop wear. The head has visible patina, discoloration and areas of surface oxidation consistent with its age. The rule markings remain clear and readable. The hook, rule, head and locking hardware are present.

Original storage box is included and may show normal age, shelf and handling wear.
