About Margaret Weis:
Margaret Weis is best known as the co-creator and principal novelist of the Dragonlance saga, one of the most influential fantasy franchises to emerge from tabletop gaming. While working at TSR, Weis partnered with Tracy Hickman to translate the world of Krynn into sweeping epic fiction, beginning with Dragons of Autumn Twilight (1984). Her Dragonlance novels blended classic high fantasy with unusually character-driven storytelling, introducing enduring figures such as Raistlin Majere and redefining tie-in fiction for roleplaying games. Beyond Dragonlance, Weis co-created The Death Gate Cycle and Darksword, establishing a career that bridged gaming, fantasy literature, and franchise world-building.
About Jeff Easley:
Jeff Easley is one of the most recognizable artists associated with TSR and the golden age of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Joining TSR in the early 1980s, Easley became a primary cover artist whose bold, dramatic compositions defined the visual identity of D&D across rulebooks, modules, and boxed sets. He produced iconic covers for the Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, Monster Manual II, and numerous adventures, as well as key Dragonlance and Greyhawk products. Easley’s work combined classical fantasy realism with striking color and clarity, making TSR’s games instantly identifiable on store shelves. His art didn’t just illustrate the worlds of TSR—it sold them, helping shape how generations of players imagined heroic fantasy.
