About Margaret Weis:

Margaret Weis is best known as the co-creator and principal novelist of the Dragonlance saga, one of the most influential fantasy franchises to emerge from tabletop gaming. While working at TSR, Weis partnered with Tracy Hickman to translate the world of Krynn into sweeping epic fiction, beginning with Dragons of Autumn Twilight (1984). Her Dragonlance novels blended classic high fantasy with unusually character-driven storytelling, introducing enduring figures such as Raistlin Majere and redefining tie-in fiction for roleplaying games. Beyond Dragonlance, Weis co-created The Death Gate Cycle and Darksword, establishing a career that bridged gaming, fantasy literature, and franchise world-building.

About Larry Elmore:

Larry Elmore is one of the most recognizable visual architects of Dragonlance, shaping how generations of readers imagine the world of Krynn. As a staff artist at TSR, Elmore painted many of the company's most iconic covers and interior illustrations.  For Dragonlance, he defined the look of heroes like Tanis Half-Elven and the fearsome chromatic dragons. His romantic, painterly style became synonymous with 1980s fantasy art and significantly elevated the RPG world's visual standards. Elmore also created the beloved SnarfQuest, a humorous and adventurous fantasy comic that showcased his storytelling talent as both artist and writer.
