Important Installation & Compatibility Warnings
PCIe Slot Compatibility: Requires a physical **x16 PCIe slot** (running at Gen 3 or Gen 4). It will **NOT** fit in x1, x4, or x8 PCIe slots unless they are open-ended, and it requires 16 active lanes for full 200Gbps aggregate performance.
Low-Profile Bracket Installed: This card is fitted with a **Low-Profile (LP) bracket**. It is designed to slide into space-constrained 1U/2U server riser bays or SFF desktop cases. Standard full-height brackets are **NOT** included.
Transceivers & Cabling Not Included: The onboard QSFP56 cages are bare and empty. Optical transceivers (optics) and fiber patch / Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables are not included.
Protocol Configurations: ConnectX-6 VPI hardware supports both **Ethernet and InfiniBand (HDR100)** protocols. Depending on system firmware configurations, ports can be switched to operate in Ethernet or InfiniBand mode using Mellanox MFT tools.
