This is a ceramic butter dish, cover and tray by Churchill in the the Blue Willow pattern.  It is from Staffordshire, England.  The tray measures 7" by 4" and with the cover i is about 2-1/2" high. These 2 pieces look like they have never been used.  There is no sign and any wear, even on the bottom.
