The seller is offering a very rare original Kodachrome slide of the Panama-flag Universal Mariners Victory-type cargo ship PALONA (ex-HALCYON TIGER, 67-70, NEW ZEALAND VICTORY, 44-70) as shown while in US waters in December 1970. She was sold out of the Fleet in 1973. This remarkable sharp sunny view was taken from shoreside with a 35mm SLR camera using a high quality 50mm standard lens. I can attest that this slide is devoid of marks and blemishes as well as to its high quality, much better than this low resolution scan.
