Antique Victorian Silver Inlay Black Lacquer Book Needle Case Sewing Etui Pin.

Late 19th century Victorian needle case crafted in the form of a book. The front cover features highly detailed silver pique work forming an ornate foliage scroll border. At the centre is a vacant silver cartouche framed by a dotted and star border. The reverse side features a double line frame boarder. The interior retains its original red fabric lining and cream needle pages. Overall this item is in a good condition with a bit of damage to the lacquer in the top left corner (as pictured) and some discolouration to the interior. The silver inlay is exceptionally crisp and intact. The material spine is in a good condition with no damage.
