A charming late Victorian satin glass vase dating to the 1890s.

This attractive example features a ribbed melon-form body in a warm amber and white cased glass, with elegant applied frosted double handles and a crimped rim. The satin finish gives the vase a soft glow, and the colouring displays particularly well when held to the light.

The vase measures approximately 13cm tall and weighs approximately 312 grams.

Condition is good antique condition with no cracks or repairs noted. There are a few tiny flea-bite nicks and areas of minor surface wear consistent with age and use, including slight roughness to parts of the crimped rim and one handle attachment. These are relatively minor and do not detract from the overall display appeal.

An attractive piece of late Victorian art glass, ideal for collectors of satin glass, decorative glass, or period interior displays.
