A spectacular, large-scale vintage Art Deco style porcelain figurine produced by Hutschenreuther of Selb, Germany. Designed by the celebrated master sculptor Karl Tutter, this fluid bisque sculpture features a joyful nude female "Sun Dancer" dynamically balancing on one foot atop a high-gloss gold kugel sphere. Her arms are thrown open wide to the sky in a dramatic, athletic pose. She is mounted to a white glazed porcelain disc base finished with a clean gold gilt trim line.

Excellent vintage condition. The delicate matte bisque porcelain body is completely free of chips, cracks, structural wear, or restorations. The gold luster finish on the sphere and base trim remains incredibly bright with only very minimal, faint shelf scuffs consistent with age.

We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home.
