This is our last major auction! We would like to thank everyone for their helpfulness and input into the history of the items whenever we reached a dead end. Every returning customer will receive a $5 discount on their order as a thank you! It was certainly a fun journey finding out more about them!
Gringotts coin made from metal that was stored in a pouch. We don't know if the pouch was also a prop but we assume so. There's a stain on the pouch, so buyer beware!
All items listed for sale on eBay are from the personal collection of my late mother-in-law, who worked in the film industry as an accountant from the late 1960s onward. She sadly passed away during the COVID period. After her passing, we relocated most of her belongings to Germany, where I live with my British husband, and we now feel it is the right time to part with the remaining items.
We and our family do not have extensive knowledge about these pieces. Our descriptions are based on notes found on the original storage boxes, our own research, and what she shared with us during her lifetime. Assumptions have been used to fill out the gaps. We will always strive to describe each item as accurately as possible; however, for a lot of pieces, the specific purpose remains uncertain as we couldn't inventorize every single item while she was still with us, and therefore we cannot guarantee accuracy of the description or their exact usage/purpose on set.
Over the past year, we have sold a number of similar items, and many eBay members have kindly provided additional insights—sometimes even sharing screenshots showing the actual props used in the films. If you have further information about any item, we would be very happy to hear from you and update the listing accordingly. In cases where we have duplicate items and limited information, we may offer a small discount as a token of appreciation to anyone who can provide solid supporting evidence or photographic evidence. This will usually be stated in the description!
For bidders in the USA: please be aware that shipping may currently experience delays due to new import regulations. We will declare packages as gifts with a low declared value and no invoice to help minimize import duties (this is currently the only shipping method available to us from Germany). At present, all shipments must be sent as 2 kg parcels regardless of actual size or weight, which explains the relatively high shipping cost for smaller lots.
Combined shipping is available. While the base shipping cost may seem high—particularly for US buyers—this is due to updated DHL pricing and policies. Tracked shipments require a minimum 2 kg parcel tier. The good news is that additional items can usually be included within this weight limit at little extra cost (for packaging expenses). The next pricing tier applies at 5 kg.
