A nice Telechron electric desk alarm clock, circa 1935, measuring 4 1/2" tall, 4 7/8" wide and 2 1/8" deep. Weight (before packing is 1 1/4 lbs. Case is mahogany wood with Art Deco styling. Crystal is bubble glass and measures 3 1/2" diameter. A double ring of brass plated metal surrounds the crystal. White electric cord. Base shows information sticker with the patent numbers, model number (7H157), volts 115, cycles 60, watts 2, as well as "Telechron, Department of General Electric Company, Ashland, Mass. Made in U.S.A.".
I tested this clock and it keeps very good time. Alarm feature works with a very quiet buzz. The metal around the crystal shows a little oxidation, I did not attempt to clean it. The wood face shows scuffing around the top and side edges (see photos).
