The adapter offers a PCIe x8 3.0 interface as well as 8 SATA / SAS interfaces via 2 miniSAS SFF-8087 ports. The maximum data transfer rate is 6 Gbps. The adapter uses the chipset LSI SAS2308, same as the model LSI 9205-8i. The latest IT mode firmware is installed, and the adapter is universally compatible with all known brands. Full und low profile brackets for installation are included.
