Antique Wedgwood Jasperware

Dark Blue Dip Cachepot

Up for sale is a charming and diminutive antique Wedgwood Dark Blue Dip Planter, Cachepot or Flower Pot.

It measures just 3-1/2" high by 4" across the rim with a slightly tapered profile and a raised foot ring.

Swags of grapevines hang from rings held by four lion heads, framing four different Greek mythological scenes.

The base is stamped "WEDGWOOD" along with a separated "ENGLAND", dating the pot to 1891-1908.

Also stamped with two different potter's marks, one of which looks like a 4-petal flower inside a circle.

Some staining in the well as shown; otherwise in exceptionally fine antique condition.
