Vintage PIFCO Portable Fluorescent Lamp – Red – Original Box and Bubble protection

Superb vintage PIFCO portable battery-operated fluorescent lamp in bright red with black carrying handle.

A fantastic piece of genuine retro camping, motoring and household equipment, dating approximately from the 1970s/early 1980s.

Designed as a lightweight portable light for a variety of uses including:

* Camping and outdoor use

* Fishing

* Power cuts

* Emergency lighting

* Home, garage or workshop use

The original packaging has some brilliant period photographs showing the lamp being used for camping, fishing and during power failures.

The lamp itself is in excellent cosmetic condition for its age, with the red plastic remaining particularly bright and clean. The fluorescent tube and clear cover are present and appear undamaged.

Includes: original PIFCO cardboard box and protective packaging as photographed.

Approximate size from photographs: 27 cm tall x 12 cm wide x 5–6 cm deep.

The original box shows age-related storage wear, rubbing, creasing and edge wear. Please see all photographs as these form an important part of the description.

Battery compartment is clean with no obvious significant corrosion visible in the photographs.
