Unfortunately, there's no cord so it's being so as non-working. It looks nice and is very displayable, would be a great decorative piece for a mid-century look.
Condition: I point out everything I can find so sometime I make items sound worse than they actually are.
On the bottom of the plastic case, the hinge has come loose about 2 inches from the left side, it still opens and closes so it doesn't affect anything. Also there's a hairline crack on the back left corner, its still solid, not loose and not that noticeable, you have to looking for it to see it. And lastly, the inside silky lining has staining and a small tear on the left side....see third photo.
