You are bidding on a rare and hard to find glass beer stein from the ASTOR HOTEL in New York City. Termed "Luxury Barware" and most likely used at the Astor Roof Garden bar,but no way to confirm that. It has the Acid Etched Thistle Shield on the front and the inside of the lid is marked G. TH. M. for Marzi company of Germany. Also etched on side : 0.5L Very good condition,bottom has some scratches from use. There are 2 pin head indentations on bottom side of handle....they look and feel more like a bubble made during the making of it than an actual chip...tried but just cant get good photo of them....so just be aware of that...if you receive and think they are actual chips,we will accept you returning it. Selling exactly as it was when put into storage,glass could use cleaning,pewter has original patina. Not sure of exact age,but know its been in storage since mid 1970's.
