New / open box -- we found this with power cord still wrapped in original packing material and stored in its original box with packing foam and wrapped in original plastic-- we feel safe calling it "new" but we still plugged it in to ensure it's working and it certainly does-- includes original box, instructions, packing material, and wax warmer.  There are a few blemishes on the box, but this one is still nice enough for gift-giving if desired!  See photos!
