this is a beautiful shirley temple item.

it’s a local jumbo window card featuring shirley in the Civil War musical melodrama, the littlest rebel.

this is the film in which bill bojangles robinson performs a ‘challenge dance’ w the little girl.

the card offers a delightful, huge image of shirley’s face.

film made in 1935. directed by david butler.
20th century fox.

the film was shown in march, 1936.

based on play by edward peble.

very large - 22”x28.”

wonderful image of shirley’s face.

the jumbo can be displayed just as it is or restored to look even more incredible.

there is wear/damage that includes -
missing the bottom left corner area - touches shirley’s shoulder.
some mild blemishes on her face, but her face shows thru very nicely.
missing upper corner areas, but just on blank margin.
the bottom rt corner was amateurishly re-attached via tape on back.
edge tear/chips.
spots/blemishes/smudges in areas.
margin near the upper rt corner is dirty.

having said all this, the window card is great looking.

wonderful vintage shirley temple item.
