From the era where Tudor watches were constructed from Rolex Parts - the bracelet is model 78370 used without end pieces and takes standard oyster links so easily expanded should needs be - the folding clasp dates from 1981 which is inline with its age, and it even has a Rolex screw down crown.
Bracelet fits a maximum wrist of 7.25"or 18cm and can be adjusted either via the spring pins in the clasp or by removing the links with a screwdriver - additional links are easy to locate for this bracelet as it was commonly used in Rolex 16xxx series watches.
Our watchmaker believes this to be an all original example of this very rare time piece.
The Quartz found inside is a refinished ETA movement and has Tudor markings.
Stunning Sunburst Silver Baton dial looks near identical to the current Rolex line up - Dial is marked 'Swiss' only - additionally all lume dots are in position - they along with the lume in the hands still glows and the dial does not appear to have any signs of restoration or deterioration when viewed under a loop.
The front element is perspex not sapphire crystal and appears in very good condition
Case is 34mm wide excluding crown, 36.5mm including.
Case is a slither under 11mm thick excluding cyclops
Bracelet included has 12 links & 2 clasp-end links - of which 4 links are removable, and the clasp has multiple positions if micro adjustments are required [pin tool required to adjust]
Links for this bracelet are easily available
Please note - the previous owner must have had the time piece refinished - even though the work was done to a high standard somehow the engravings and Tudor Crown are not 'as new'
