2000 Toyota MR2

92,080 Miles (subject to increase slightly)

MOT till Feb 2027

Only owned and enjoyed briefly, intended on turning it into a track car but had a reality check and realised my Civic is plenty.

Absolutely brilliant car, really pleasantly surprised and shocked with how well it drives for a standard car, really is a lot of bang for the buck and they’ll only go up I reckon.

In my ownership it has had to have a new gearbox (40k mile SMT gearbox converted to Manual, everything works completely as it should, shifts nicely).

With that it got a brand new OEM style Exedy clutch, original flywheel was re-used as was advised by someone whos been in the MR2 game a very long time.

Unfortunately since doing the gearbox swap the ABS light has came on, haven’t looked into it so not sure why but I have pushed the car a few times since then and had no issues with brakes.

2 new rear wheel bearings with fitting invoice from garage.

A new driveshaft seal from Toyota on the left side.

Tires and pads have lots of life left in them.

The 2 tears either side of the soft top sit directly above the drain holes, I’ve had the car sat outside over a few rainy days and the inside has stayed bone dry.

Paid £2,700 for it in Feb and I’ve put £600+ into it, I no longer have the space for it and I just want it gone.
