Val Edward Kilmer was a Juilliard-trained actor known for his intensity and charisma in a variety of genres, including action, comedy, fantasy, and drama. He made his film debut in 1984 and gained recognition for his portrayal of Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's 1991 biopic The Doors. Kilmer also played Doc Holliday in Tombstone (1993), Elvis Presley in True Romance, and Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever.
