An original World War One related letter written by AEF Lieutenant Hubert Gault. It is dated 1918 England. In one area he says,.....gotten near enough to the scene of operations to see some real live Germans. They are real tame however being prisoners. The guards tell us the prisoners hope the war will last forever because they are so well treated they like it here........We are quarantined in this camp.......       The cover has the send to address of St. Peter Minnesota.

I currently have other items listed that belonged to this individual.

The letter has some wear in areas.
