Velvet Red special edition VW beetle with lots of history and paperwork., one of only 3000 made for German factory by Mexico in 1985

Very much a patina car with some original paintwork, original interior, sills, doors etc. does have surface rust scratches and dinks!

Run as is or restore !

Decklid and bonnet (different shade of red) changed at some point and fitted with dual port 1300 engine , runs and drives.

Partially finished project..back brakes need sorting plus some welding to rear of cills and jacking points -repair panels and replacement brake pipes/backplates etc included.

Has had some other patch welding and RHD conversion in the past , from history appears it was imported from Germany in 1994 and last on the road in 2012 then has sat around since then...till I bought it in 2024.. but very good for its age, especially a Mexican beetle!

Original Handbook, Factory service book, German reg document and export doc inc extensive UK history and every MOT !

All electrics, lights etc work, nearly new battery included.

You’ll need a trailer to collect due to brakes and tyres are original but cracked , but will run and drive for loading.
